No previous design experience is necessary.
UX research, or design research, encompasses a variety of investigative methods used to add context and insight to the design process. Design research incorporates investigative methods drawn from different disciplines to create a project that meets the needs of the end user.
Each session will focus on a different set of tools that can be used in your practice (or even day-to-day life) that will help you to explore design challenges in new ways.
Session 1 – The Ideation Session – Students will learn facilitation tactics for generating ideas and solutions with project stakeholders.
Session 2 – The Journey Map – Students will learn to create a map that tells the story of an experience to understand how hidden insights can be uncovered.
Session 3 – Co-Creation – Students will learn methods for testing designs with the end user to improve the designs outcome.
