Marketing: Digital Strategies
Learn strategic approaches for digital brand, social web, digital media and user experience design. Course presentations, discussions and assignments offer guidance and direction on brand and digital strategies, especially regarding the mobile platform. Instead, starting from the premise that all media are now social, bring a disciplined strategic approach to the digital platform, especially as you consider design and UI/UX for the screens that now connect us to each other and to our work and passions every day. Prerequisites: Visual Communication: Introduction to Graphic Design or experience in one of marketing, communication, or PR.
Dave Allen is an Interactive Creative Director, serial blogger, writer and musician who has been dabbling with the web since 1993. He is the founding member and bass player for the bands Gang of Four and Shriekback. Dave has been an adjunct lecturer focusing on Digital Brand Strategy with the University of Oregon. He serves as Director of Interactive Strategy at North.com.
