Web Design Tools
In this introductory Web Design course students will be introduced to the fundamentals of creating a personal or professional website. We will explore various content management systems, strategies for designing a website, examine the process for determining the best web solution for your needs and begin work on a personal project of each students choice. By completing this course, students will achieve a basic understanding of the language of working with websites, designing and organizing content, and will be able to create a site using a content management system. Class is starting one week later than originally scheduled.
Instructor: Sarah Moon
Sarah is a digital communications professional and writer in Portland. She works with creative individuals and businesses on establishing and improving their online presence and digital marketing strategies, writes about technology, digital media and creative business and regularly leads classes and workshops on ecommerce, digital and social media, blogging and website design.
She is a graduate of American University in Washington, DC and has an M.A. from the University College Dublin in Ireland.
