In the class you will build and take home a tube amplifier using push-pull 6V6 tubes (for your guitar, iPhone/iPod, etc). Students will build the electronics of their amps and the cabinet to hold it. The class concentrates on the best practices for circuitry and gives an introduction to electronics before starting the project. Students will be required to provide their own tubes, speakers, power switch, power cord, and fuse holder. Source information will be provided, along with tubes and speakers for the purpose of testing. Take a look at the the materials for the class.
